Big O is a series that will really surprise you if given a chance to work its magic. The story incorporates different elements from such literary classics as Issac Asimov's I, Robot, Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451, and Philip K. Dick's Time Out of Joint - as well as many others. While also heavily inspired by BTAS, the show is more of a Kafkaesque/Orwellian-type mystery with great old-school mecha and monster fighting.
